Burgers and Beer?! SkipTheDishes now offers liquor delivery in Alberta!

Well, friends, we have evolved. No, we didn’t cure any infectious disease, and no one has successfully integrated a 3D printed thumb to anyone’s hand for texting proficiency. We also haven’t single-handedly saved the bees, but what we, the Alberta human race, have done, is make house parties a hell of a lot more fun. Say goodbye to Sunday morning breakfast, and hello to SkipTheDishes liquor delivery service!

BC and Manitoba were the first two provinces to offer the service on this particular app way back in 2017, making Alberta, only the third in Canada to deliver liquor via SkipTheDishes. Just call us fashionably late to an exclusive soiree!

Obviously, anyone ordering a good time will still have to comply with the 18+ law. Also, SkipTheDishes will only be offering its liquor delivery service in Calgary, Edmonton, and Fort McMurray to start. Like similar apps, Drizly and Buzz Buddy Liquor, the app will now have an age verification step. Also, the driver, who also must have a ProServe certificate, will require ID upon delivery.

Don’t go trying to trick the system either! Anyone without valid identification will be charged a $10 fee and won’t receive their order. Bummer.

Consider our plans this weekend cancelled. We’ll be taking the service for a test drive… for research purposes, of course. Happy sipping, party animals.
