Korean-inspired pizza, chicken, and snacks? Consider us sold! Owned and operated by a local culinary legend, Calgary’s brand new Jin Bar may just be your new favourite concept resto.

After a successful but exhausting back to back run on both, Top Chef Canada season 6 and the Food Network’s Wall of Chefs, food wizard Jinhee Lee returned to Korea to recharge, spend time with family and calculate her next move.

“During that time, I could not stop thinking about food and cooking,” she said on her Instagram.  “Now with a clear mind and a healthy body, I am pleased to announce my new project as chef/owner of JIN BAR.”

According to Lee, this incredibly tasty looking resto is her dream come true, and honestly… it might be ours too.

Serving golden delicious fried chicken, beer,  pizza that’ll knock your socks off, along with snacks that look like they’ll blow our minds, Jin Bar isn’t open just yet but we can hardly wait. Plus, we love seeing new spots open in fantastic neighbourhoods like Bridgeland!

We don’t plan on waiting much longer to check it out, and neither should you! We’ll keep you updated on when the opening date is, and, in the meantime, get yourselves ready for some spicy, sweet, meaty grub. Drool.
