Why do you #LoveYYC? For the last four years, the city has only asked us to dedicate a single day to celebrate whatever it is that we think makes Calgary so unique.
Now, in 2020 when we need a sense of community (and safety) the most, Tourism Calgary will instead be holding a month-long, virtual event where everyone is encouraged to tell neighbourhood stories, offer compelling deals and hold contests with locally-sourced prizes.

“Calgary’s undeniable community spirit is truly our superpower, and it has remained a continuous source of inspiration for all Calgarians throughout 2020,” says Cindy Ady, CEO of Tourism Calgary.
In addition to 3 days of incredible perks – like deals and entertainment, #LoveYYC Month will also work to give a few local shop owners a little boost. To do this, they’ll actually be collaborating with 13 of Calgary’s business improvement areas, to feature community leaders, neighbourhoods and public art on their @TourismCalgary social media channel.
So, friends. Is it the skyline? That skip in everyone’s step during Stampede? The Nightlife? Whatever it may be, celebrate it this November!
