Behind every Christmas Market posting and pop-up bar announcement, there is a Curiocity staff member searching Calgary-wide for the next best thing. Sometimes, on the search for the family-friendly, we come across some of the most eyebrow-raising, spine-tingling, sometimes mentally-taxing social functions, and gosh darn it, we just couldn’t keep them to ourselves any longer. Here are some of the weirdest things happening in Calgary this week. Who knows, maybe you’ll find something worth checking out!
Cuddle Connection
“Authentic connection in a gentle, consensual, playful, hands-on way.” Cozy. Each cuddle puddle event begins with an introduction and a workshop on boundaries, then the evening moves into a full-on freestyle group cuddle sesh.
