Woah, where did April go? It’s already the last weekend of the month, which means we’re sending things off in classic Calgary style. It may or may not snow on our parade, but that’s never stopped us before. Stay tuned for 8 things to do over the next couple of days!

Everyone’s fave fan experience is coming up faster than you can say “may the force be with you,” so it’s time to get stoked about it. Pam Anderson is gonna be here, people!!

Calgary Underground Film Festival
Catch some of the best international independent cinema on the last weekend of this film-lovers festival. Horror, comedy, straight-up weird stuff- anything goes at CUFF.

Uncover Kensington
Are you ready for a shameless self-plug? ‘Cause here it comes! Our first food event, Uncover Kensington, is kicking off this weekend! Help us welcome Graywood Development’s The Theodore to the neighbourhood by trying a bunch of multi-course prix fixe menus ranging from $30 to $40! You have until Sunday, May 5th to affordably eat your way through Kensington’s food & drink scene, so you might as well get started now.

Buffo Sunday Supper
Buffo’s teaming up with their friends from Teatro to bring us dinner that’s totally Italian grandma-approved. Their Chef de Cuisine, Michel Nop, and Chef Daniel Pizarro from Teatro will be preparing three-course feast served family-style! Don’t miss it, or forever have pasta envy.

FoamFest Calgary
We’re not entirely sure what “foam” is made of, but it’s probably best to not think about it too hard. Hit the Chinese Cultural Event Centre Downtown to enjoy DJs, neon outfits, and intoxicated pals. Tix are $15 each!

Food Truck Frenzy
Eat your way through the many cuisines that are offered Saturday and Sunday through the YYC Food Trucks umbrella! Chow down on some backyard faves such as Calgary Mini Donuts, Fiasco Gelato, Taiko Taco, and Family Freezed. On top of all the good eats, you can also enjoy live music and DJs!

Sparkle Party YYC by Space Gnomes
Calgs, it’s time to put on something shiny and prepare to have a very sparkly time. Space Gnomes is bringing us Space Gnoise starting at 8 pm. We’re not sure what it means either, but it’s provocative and gets the people going (for just $10!).
