WestJet flies donations across Canada in its heartwarming “Christmas Miracle” video

Via WestJet

Year after year, WestJet releases a Christmas video that either ignites some waterworks or warms our hearts and this year they’ve managed to do a bit of both. The annual WestJet Christmas commercial was released this morning, and it touches on all of the hardships Canadians have faced in a very trying 2020.

In a press release put out this morning, WestJet states that “since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, WestJet, with the help of WestJetters, have donated more than 1.3 million items nationwide. For this year’s Christmas Miracle, the airline hopes to inspire this same giving.”

Whether or not you’re a fan of the airline, it’s hard to deny that this is a wonderful message. Plus, WestJet has included all of the charities and causes that they featured in the video for people to donate to as well!

These include Inn from the Cold, Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta, Calgary Health Foundation, Alberta Children’s Hospital, Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter, The Grande Spirit Foundation, and The Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation.

Stay safe, stay kind, and help each other out, Canada!
