Everybody we’ve ever met loves Costco. So, we’re happy to announce that the first location on Indigenous land in North America has opened outside of Calgary, Alberta.

The new spot is the first major tenant in a new development called The Shops at Buffalo Run. Located in the Tsuut’ina Nation, the development hopes to become a major commercial hub for the area.

Well, the new 150,000 sq. ft. warehouse capable of serving 40,000 members is definitely a great start. What’s more, this is part of a larger development called Taza, which is currently the largest of its kind in North America as well, at 1,200 acres.

The question is, will there be a new Buffalo Run golf course? We miss it dearly.

Happy shopping anyway though, folks!
