The city wants to know what YOU want in the new arena

Calgary’s new arena has been a hot button topic since the very beginning. Now that the deal has been signed and sealed, it’s your chance to weigh in! City council has opened an online survey allowing the public to sound off!

“We’re seeking input on the user experience, programming and amenities to help inform the design and function of the facility, its surrounding public spaces and the food, beverage and retail offerings that will complement it, so we can learn what matters most to you,” the city’s website reads.

In addition to the survey, the city is planning a number of personal engagement sessions. Details for these events can be found here, at their public engagement website.

The survey is only open from now until March 27th. When all is said and done, feedback will then be reviewed by The Calgary Municipal Land Corporation.

Now, hurry on there and speak your truth, Calgary! You best believe we’ll be on there begging them to keep those sweet, sweet Saddledome malts. It’s the important things.

You can take away our arena, but you will never take our malts.
