Retired AHS workers are now helping combat COVID on the frontlines

It takes an army! Alberta Health Services have been working overtime since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak almost a month ago, but hopefully, they’re about to experience a little relief.
According to AHS, 46 recently retired physicians have signed on to help combat the spread of Coronavirus in local hospitals.

Now, we realize this won’t change everything. AHS is swamped right now and doctors and nurses are up to their necks in work, all while risking their health and wellbeing.
That’s exactly why these outstanding people who are volunteering deserve some recognition, though. They’re simply acting out of the goodness in their hearts to save our lives, and we’re not crying, you’re crying!
It’s safe to say that, today, our faith in humanity was restored. People are freaking awesome. Thank you, again to everyone working on the frontlines. You are all so, so amazing.
