Ok, we’re going to be honest and say that we have no idea if Calgary’s shortest fall is an actual metric that can be evaluated. But, boy howdy does this week take the cake if it is. Why? According to the Weather Network, there’s supposed to be a 20-degree dip in temperature between Monday and Friday.
That’s bogus, and we blame Mother Nature for being rude. What happened to buying progressively warmer scarves? Or jumping around in leaves? Or brisk evening walks?

Calgary is no stranger to wild weather patterns, but this one is particularly painful. We thought we would have at least until the first week of October before having to worry about snowfall.
Or -4 lows. Or ice on the sidewalk. You know what? No, we simply won’t accept it. We’re going to be that guy from high school who never put on anything more than a hoodie, except in real life. That’s right, we’re going to will winter to chill out a little bit.
That’ll show the world. Probably. Maybe. We hope. You can learn more about Calgary’s shortest fall (we’re keeping the name) on the Weather Network.
