Home of the Week: A boujee space-age mansion

Red wine is ill-advised to the spilly drinker in this mostly white futuristic crib. This Curiocity Calgary Home of the Week features a minimalistic interior that can only be described as Met-Gala-asylum chic. And were here for it! The entire ‘anything but ordinary’ home is impressively cohesive and is comfortingly reminiscent of the set of Men in Black.

CURIOCITY CALGARY HOME OF THE WEEK

This place is very O.C. on the outside, but unconventional art project on the inside. The grand foyer is an open concept with 10ft ceilings… 10ft ceilings that are occupied by an obvious homage to Lady Gaga’s galaxy headpiece circa 2009. Weird, but we like it.
This elegant home has seven-and-a-half baths and seven-bedrooms (not including the massive pantry you could rent out as a studio). Seriously, in this 10,670 square foot space, we can ensure that you’ll almost never run into a family member or roommates if you don’t want to.
The thick marble countertops in the bathroom are what Pinterest dreams are made of. Also, you could basically throw a party in the shower of the master bath and still have elbow room!

If you’re the entertaining type or just prone to boredom, the property includes additional amenities. Binge Friends on Netflix for the thousandth time in your private movie theatre. Work off that large pizza you ate solo while binging in your custom gym. Then, have a post-gym beer at your in-home bar! Ah, the life.

Catch a sunset over the mountains off of your wrap-around balcony. Because honestly, the view from this place is wild. Or… If natural light is your thing, but fresh air isn’t, this modern marvel also has skylights throughout.

The clean decor within radiates luxury and sophistication. This home is a serious space-age playground, and we’d really like to live in it. We’ll keep dreaming.
Drink, watch, socialize and sleep feeling like the $6,488,000 you spend on this three-story beast was totally worth it. Chump change, really.
