An exclusive look at the hidden gem that is ATCO Park

Curiocity Group Inc.

Think you know the city pretty well Calgary? Well then, you must’ve hit up ATCO Park a million times by now. At least, you should have, ’cause this new business complex is our new fave spot to hang out.

With two four-storey office buildings and a multi-purpose facility including the Blue Flame Kitchen Cafe and Learning Centre, this place is pretty amazing. But you definitely don’t have to work there to chill there– since the place is open to the public, anyone’s welcome to explore.

With tons of warm wood, huge windows and open space, ATCO Park’s about as inviting as it gets. Whether you’re meeting with colleagues, grabbing coffee with a pal, or just looking for somewhere peaceful to study, we highly recommend their walking paths and green spaces.

We’re not big meeting people (why meet in person when you can Skype in your onesie?), but if anyone invited us to one of ATCO’s four public meeting rooms for a chat, we’d definitely be down. All of them are available for rent on evenings and weekends, FYI.

But as if that wasn’t already cool enough, the Blue Flame Kitchen’s always serving up fresh eats and they offer hands-on cooking classes, too.

Book yourself a session to learn about cuisines from around the world, and try dishes made from the local garden and bees. Yup, we’re not kidding– this place has its own urban beehive.

We’re not sure of much, but we do know that this place deserves way more recognition than it gets. Round up the crew, the company or the study group, Calgs– we’ll see you at ATCO.
