Tim Hortons launches ‘Hero Cup’ to thank frontline workers

Via Tim Hortons

COVID-19 frontline staff make up most 2020’s real MVPs. Starting today, Canadians will have the chance to thank them publically! Tim Hortons is inviting you to nominate those who have kept the country running during the pandemic for a chance to be featured on their limited-edition “Hero Cup” which will be available country-wide.

From health care professionals to first responders, truck drivers, retail staff, government workers, and public transit staff. We have only been able to survive this thanks to the commitments made by incredible people who have right through the last few months.

“Frontline workers have been the backbone of our communities during these extremely difficult times. Like all Canadians, we want to ensure that we continue to show our gratitude and appreciation by shining a spotlight on them,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer of Tim Hortons in a press release.

100 heroes will be named on the cup along with a thank you message in both English and French in place of the traditional logo.  Cute!

Nominating someone for the hero cup project is as easy as going to herocups.timhortons.ca any time before June 24th! Those chosen will be contacted and asked for their consent, and will also be featured on timhortons.com! It’s really the least we can do, right?
