Chuck E Cheese is nearly bankrupt and may be shutting down worldwide


It’s with a heavy heart that we write this article. It was reported this week that Chuck E Cheese, a millennial soft spot, might have to close all locations worldwide, depriving children everywhere of a bizarre but memorable experience.
Known for their suspiciously cut pizza, creepy animatronics, and legendary birthday parties, Chuck E Cheese practically dominated the 90s. Now, according to the Wall Street Journal, the party and entertainment venue is on the brink of bankruptcy.

We’re not going to lie, this feels kind of like the end of an era. $1 Billion is an absurd amount of money, so we’re not sure how they’ll be able to come back from this.
