The A1 Bodega & Café that has replaced Two Penny is now open!
Alright, Calgary! The day has finally come! We’re not going to lie, we’re still kind of mourning the loss of two of our favourite spots, Two Penny and The Tea House, but we’re more than willing to give its successor a shot. Bodega A1 Café is now open and ready for business!
With a new look, a new menu and a new concept, the folks at Bodega are already doing a great job setting itself apart from what it once was.

Now diners can now enjoy sophisticated Italian inspired dishes like spaghetti vongole, paccheri bolognese, and even octopus in a comfortable café setting. Sounds great to us!
Also, for those looking for something quick, but still want to check it out, A1 Bodega is partially a market with a selection of tasty to-go meals, which is super fun and convenient.
A1 Bodega and Café is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 9 am to 10 pm and then until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, so hop to it, Calgary! Maybe we’ll see you there!
