Happy Hour of the Week: Some of the cheapest pints you can get
Happy National Cold Cuts Day, Calgary! It’s Tuesday, which means we need something to celebrate, and if that something is thin-sliced sandwich meat, so be it. Let’s party! For this Curiocity Calgary Happy Hour of the Week, we’re heading to Last Best Brewery and Distilling for a beer the price of a pack of gum, and more appies than you can wave a stick at. What does that even mean? We’re not sure, but we are sure you’re going to check this place out.

Last Best is a classy little joint in the Beltline with incredible ambience and a passion for beer. These guys make what they sell right on site, which leaves little to the imagination, and we actually dig that. No surprises, just good sippin.
Their food isn’t half bad either. They serve burgers, pizza, wings, bowls, fish and chips and everything in between. They’ve also got brunch, but that isn’t why you clicked on this article. Let’s get into the good stuff, shall we?
Between 2 pm and 6 pm, Last Best puts on an incredible happy hour. Their HH window is mighty wide so you have plenty of time to grab a brew with the crew.

The star of their special menu? Their Hollas. Fancy a $2.50 9 oz beer? Of course you do! That’s an insanely low price for anything, never mind a beer. If you’re looking to crush something a little heavier, their 18 oz beers are only $5.
If ale isn’t your style at all, they’ve also got $5 highballs, $2 off 6 oz glasses of wine, and a ton of food. Pickle chips, pepperoni, vegetable fries and olives will only run you $5, and wings, pork fried bread and poutine will only cost you a cool $11. Not bad, hey?
If you work late and miss happy hour, you can also check out Last Best anytime on Sundays for the same drink deals, plus $3.50 shots. Just beware of Monday morning. Heck, good luck recovering before Thursday. We’re still working towards 100%.
