Happy hour of the week: 1/2 price tacos & YYC’s largest tequila selection
We don’t know about you, but we’re still suffering from the Monday blues. The cure? We’ll give you a hint. It starts with a T, and it definitely wasn’t Tuesday morning. This Curiocity Calgary Happy Hour of the Week takes us over the border and into Wednesday with a bit of a headache, but man is it worth it! Anejo is their name and tequila is their game.

Anejo is a trendy, kind of quaint tequila bar right on 4th, known for its stellar margaritas and authentic foods. At 200 different tequilas, they actually also have the largest selection in all of Canada. Impressive? We think so.
These guys have everything from Blanco, Reposado and Anejo, to Extra Anejo, which means “old” in Spanish. Their selection is aged to perfection and ranges from the affordable ($7) to the top of the line luxury brands, like Patron.

Every day between 3 pm and 5 pm, take advantage of their incredible “halfy-hour” deals. Enjoy half-priced tequilas and tacos, and $6 margaritas with flavours like guava, blood orange and strawberry rhubarb. The fruit basket gang is all here, folks.
For all of you who are like “but I get off at 5, I won’t make it!” Well, you’re in luck! This tequila-centric bar doesn’t only have ONE happy hour, they’ve got a second one you’ll be able to catch from 9 pm to close. Woo!
