Banff’s newest restaurant Farm & Fire opens today!

Great food, great atmosphere, great news! Banff officially opened their brand new restaurant, Farm & Fire, right on Main Street today, and man are we excited to tell you all about it.

The journey to opening day was not an easy one. Launching a brand new spot in a town that has closed down due to a pandemic… that also requires everyone to stay inside, was just as difficult as you can imagine. Luckily, with an incredible team all well versed in the industry, they managed to pull it off!

We were lucky enough to be given a virtual tour ahead of their grand opening, and guys, you will not be disappointed. The space was designed by Frank Architecture, the group behind Bridgette Bar and the Vermillion Room. It’s warm, elegant, and cozy but more importantly, the food looks and sounds incredible.

Using locally sourced ingredients they have created an extensive menu with classic favourites as well as modern eats. The real star of the whole restaurant, though, is their chicken. This is some good poultry, folks. Farm & Fire coats their chicken in an incredible signature spice blend before grilling it to perfection in their Fancy rotisserie oven. This bad boy was imported all the way from France so it has to be good, right?

As if it didn’t get any better than that, they’ve also partnered with both Eau Claire Distillery and Park Distillery, the creators of the highest quality Alberta-made hard liquor on the market.

Like most restaurants that are open right now, they are only working at a 50% capacity. You might want to make a reso, or get there early enough that you miss the Banff lunch/dinner rush. They’ve also enforced several measures to protect customers from the spread of COVID-19, so you really won’t have too much to worry about.
