An exclusive look at Calgary’s best new bakery
Who doesn’t love a buttery pastry? That’s right, literally no one… so when we heard about a new patisserie opening on 17th, we had to check it out. And yikes people, our clean eating future is not lookin’ so hot.
We’re not mad though. Black Sheep, a new Fine Foods and Patisserie shop, is giving us life with all their tasty treats and fresh lattes. From savoury to sweet, they’ve got something for everyone.

Croissants are the star here. Whether you’re a sucker for almond, chocolate dipped or raspberry (made with Black Sheep’s very own jam), you’re bound to go crazy over the flakey flavours.
But we’re not done. Biscotti, madeleines, and shortbread cookie sandwiches are here too… and you can even take classes to learn from the Black Sheep experts themselves.
They said there’s no shortcut to quality, but these freshly baked blessings have a shortcut to our mouths anytime.
