Calgary’s cheesiest 10-day BOGO event, YYC Pizza Week, starts today!
Nothing brings people together quite like pizza. No matter the occasion, a hot slice of za is a surefire way of making every gathering or event just that much better – this is exactly why YYC Pizza Week is practically 2020’s ultimate community event… and we’ve got some great news! It’s finally here!
Starting today, Friday, September 18th for 10 whole days, in partnership with Mealshare, YYC Pizza week will feature some of Calgary’s favourite local restaurants in topping for topping competition.

This year’s charity drive will feature more than 25 eateries all of which will be split into 3 categories: thick crust, thin crust, and ‘out of the box.’ We’ll take one of each in every category, please!
Until the 27th, hungry Calgarians will be encouraged to check out the participating locations, try a pie, and then vote for their favourite! The best part? For every pizza purchased, Mealshare is able to give a nutritious meal to a family in need – meaning you’ll be eating for the good of others! A good deed has never tasted so good.
Since 2014, Pizza Week has been able to raise over $50,000 for Calgary charities – and in our opinion, considering everything people have been through this year, 2020 should be the biggest yet.
