Good afternoon to everyone except Barb Weber. The “most dramatic” season of The Bachelor wrapped last night, but before the main event (Bachelor in Paradise) we’ve got to get through another 12 episodes of the offseason franchise. Luckily, it might be one worth watching because a Calgarian has actually been cast on this year’s Bachelorette!

Cowtown’s Mike Tobin will be vying for star Clare Crawley’s (season 18) heart when it begins airing in May, which is pretty exciting!

Now, if you’re like us and thought “he looks familiar” rest assured you’re not insane. Tobin actually has a pretty viral past, appearing on Oprah for being a Shania Twain superfan, and then again for appearing in front of the Today Show crew at the PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games during the women’s hockey game.

How Canadian! Here’s to hoping he makes hometowns. Our erhm… friend… has this huge crush on Chris Harrison, and it would delight them to know that he’s in town.

THE BACHELORETTE SEASON 16
