If you haven’t yet been to Snowy Village, then you seriously need to go check it out. This dessert cafe serves up some fantastic treats from around Asia and is the perfect alternative to the regular scoop of ice cream.

The staple dish here is their Korean ‘bingsoo’ dessert. The base is a milky, sweet shaved ice, but it’s the toppings that really bring things to a new level.

You can keep it simple with just milk, chocolate or oreo. Or, you can try out some of their specialties.

We recommend the latter, especially anything that uses fruit. You can’t go wrong with some mango, watermelon or strawberry on top. Fruity, cold and sweet- it’s the summer dessert trifecta.

Snowy Village also serves up ‘taiyaki’, which is a Japanese pastry of sorts. Filled with either Nutella or red bean paste, these sweet pockets are formed to look like fish, and are just as tasty as they are good looking.

So, if you’re looking to treat yourself this weekend, head over to Snowy Village and try something new.
