Welcome to the first ever Curiocity Calgary Menu Item of the Week! Here we will uncover some of the most delectable dishes, mouth-watering munchies, and tasty treats you can find at restaurants in Calgary. Here we go! First up: The Seafood Curry Ramen Nest at Anju.

So, we’re hoping that you have a pretty good idea about Anju being one of Calgary’s best (and favourite) restaurants. Since relocating to its spot at 344 17 Ave SW, Anju has become a mainstay in the feeds of Calgary’s foodies and the bellies of anyone with taste buds.
We could talk about Anju’s menu all day long, but this week we’re going to focus on the Seafood Curry Ramen Nest.

The Korean name for this dish is “Haeumul Karae Ramen Dungji”, which loosely translates to “a life-changing concoction of deliciousness”. Is the translation true? Maybe, maybe not, but we figure you should find out for yourself.

What you’ll get in this dish is a combination of cod, prawns, mussels, zucchini, carrot, coconut milk, cilantro, and some sort of addictive substance that isn’t listed (but must exist). How else do you explain us driving down multiple bowls every time we hit up Anju??
You can get this bowl of heaven for $28 off of Anju’s dinner menu. Oh, and Anju runs dinner from 5 PM – 1 AM every night of the week! Eat your heart out, kiddos.
