Happy Hour of the Week: Half priced wine and Italian appies under $9
Happy post-long weekend, Tuesday! We figured we could all use a silver lining at the end of what we’re assuming will be a very long day. How do pasta and wine sound? In this Curiocity Calgary Happy Hour of the Week, we’re carb-ing up at Posto Pizzeria and Bar!

Welcome to the pizzeria of your dreams. This lively resto is one of Calgary’s best, even appearing on Open Table’s Top 100. Posto is a small downtown spot, but what they lack in size here, they make up for in flavour. This place is seriously delish.
They take their craft pretty seriously here, but that’s not to say they don’t have some fun with their toppings. At Posto, you cover your crust in everything from the usual suspects like sausage, and basil, to unique add-ons like potato and apple. Cliche aside, these guys have something for everyone, and we mean that.

Posto is pretty experimental with their flavours, and best experienced with a clean pallet. We recommend drinking a good red wine between combinations, which you can do for half-priced between 4 pm to 6 pm on Mondays through to Fridays!
Their happy hour includes sweet deals like 50% off bottles of wine and $5 beers. Not too shabby, if we do say so, but it doesn’t stop here. The food is why to come to Posto, so of course, they’ve included some appies in their HH.
Before chowing down on the main event, snack on some $6 Bonterra bread, and Sicilian olives, $8 ribs, or meatballs, salmon Crudo, or perogies for $2.50. Finally, try their $9 antipasti plate. Wowza.
