Happy Hour of the Week: A Selection of over 100 craft beers for only $5
Happy Tuesday, Calgary and welcome back to those of you who had a four day weekend! This Curiocity Calgary Happy Hour at Social Beer Haus might be just what you need to start your week off right, whether you’re having a rough go or celebrating the short work week!

Social Beer Haus is a family-run local business big on smokehouse cuisine and Canadian ingredients. They aren’t the place to go if you’re looking for some crazy insta-worthy drink, and they aren’t one of those concept bars with out-of-the-box decor, but man does their Happy Hour pack a solid punch.
These guys have over 100 different beers to choose from, which is comforting and also a bit overwhelming. You know they’re going to have something that you like, it’s just a matter of finding that something. There are 66 beers on tap, and over 40 in bottles, so you better get to drinking. It’s all trial and error, folks.
Your liver might suffer over time, but your wallet doesn’t have to. Priorities. All beers are only $5 for a 14 oz sleeve and $7 for 20 oz pints during their happy hour. Yass.

If a literal game of 99 bottles of beer on the wall induces anxiety, which is totally understandable, Social Beer Haus also has a pretty solid cocktail and wine menu. It’s got a wide selection, but it’s definitely not as extensive or as complicated as their beer menu.
Red and white wines are only $5 dollars for a 5 oz glass, and $8 for an 8 oz glass (A dollar an oz, sounds pretty fair to us!) their well liquor will run you $5 or $8 for a double, and select curated cocktails start at $5.
Choose between either their Southern Slush – your choice of vodka and slush, and soda, or one of their Margaritas. (Citrus, Harvest Peach, or Huckleberry.) Can’t decide? Go ahead and have both, just make sure you’ve had something to eat first. Don’t make any rookie mistakes! They also have $4 dollar tacos and sliders, $7 queso or shrimp, and half-priced meats.
You can catch their happy hour from 3 pm until 6 pm everyday. Also, from Sunday through Thursday they’ve got a second happy hour from 9 pm to close. Happy Sipping, Calgary!
