You already know what it is. At least you should, ’cause you clicked on this article. It’s time for the Curiocity Calgary Bite of the Week, people! This time, we’re getting extra. Like hazelnut-and-chocolate-cup-as-big-as-your-face extra. You in? Good.

Look, not all of us have the dough to spend on a Paris trip. But what we do have is a cafe straight outta France, and it’s posted up right on 22nd Ave. But if the elegant vibes weren’t enough, Cafe Du Centre’s Ferrero Rocher Taça is enough to make us wanna move in.

We’re talking creamy milk chocolate, delicate crisp wafer bites, and hazelnut pieces dusting the edge of the glass. It’s gorgeous and ridiculous, and everything we’ve ever dreamed about. Don’t know how to pronounce taça? Don’t worry, nobody does. But it doesn’t matter ’cause you’re gonna be stuffing your face anyway.

If by some weird stroke of luck you’re not into Ferrero Rocher, though, dive into one of CDC’s other insane desserts. Their Cookie Taça is another great choice (Oreo, whipped cream, strawberry). Also, the Banoffee Taça is a dream (bananas, cream, and toffee, buttery biscuit base). Feel like diving into a brownie sandwich? Who doesn’t? Try the Le Tour Du Chocolat (brownie, ice cream, caramelx10000).

This place is a must-see, Calgary, so pop by their cute lil patio before we eat them out of chocolate. It’s a very real possibility.
