Take a trip to Paris at this new downtown café
Dessert. We don’t always save room for it, but we really should. In fact, we’re pretty sure life would be 100x better if everyone ate dessert first, so we’re making it a 2019 goal to have at least one weekly meal at the new downtown bakery, Café Du Centre.
When it comes to stuffed croissants, specialty coffees, and taças, Cafe du Centre does not mess around. It’s like someone told them to go big or go home, and they decided they’d go really, really big… but we’re definitely not mad about it.
But of course, the Café doesn’t discriminate against savoury seekers either. They’ve got freshly cut sandwiches and tons of salty hors-d’oeuvres to complement your afternoon tea, too. There’s truly something for every palate on this menu.
And while the food is definitely the star of the show at this spot, we’re also pretty taken with their sophisticated décor. From the sparkling chandelier to the classy nods to French culture, Café Du Centre is a trip to Paris right in the heart of our city.
