On Friday Canopy Growth, the country’s largest cannabis company, announced plans for 10 stores to be opened across Alberta. This will include both of the brands that the company operates- Tweed and Tokyo Smoke.

Calgary and Spruce Grove will be getting all of the Tokyo Smoke locations. Meanwhile, Edmonton, Calgary, and Lethbridge will each see a new Tweed location in the city. Fun fact- Calgary will get 7 out of the 10 currently planned. Geeze!

But we digress. Tweed is supposed to be a more ‘warm and friendly’ experience, while Tokyo Smoke is more of an elevated affair. Either way, Canopy is promising an industry-leading shopping experience no matter what, so we’ve got some high expectations.

Every store announced today is set to open within the next week. For a full list of new stores and their locations, just click here.

Enjoy the weekend, folks!
