EXPOSURE PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL
This festival celebrates the best in Albertan photography and gives internationally-renowned talent a meeting place to mix and mingle with one another. This year, Exposure hopes to further the knowledge of budding photogs and seasoned professionals alike. Over a month and during events, portfolio reviews, and exhibitions, they’ll be asking big questions like what is photography now, what was it then, and what’s in store?

BEARDS ON ICE
Cheer on the guys from Royal LePage as they perform during the 5th Annual Beards on Ice fundraiser. All money raised will go towards the LePage Shelter Foundation in their fight to break the cycle of family violence in Canada. Good cause, good laughs, good music? Sound’s like a decent way to spend an evening to us!

This weekend, check out the Glenbow Museum’s mysterious new exhibit. Vivian Maier: In Her Own Hands features over 100 photographs found at a Chicago auction house by chance, each giving the viewer insight into 30 years of American city life as captured by one of the most enigmatic figures of twentieth century photography.
