Ah, the weekend has (kinda) arrived and along with it is plenty of great things to do in Calgary. We’ve got home shows, we’ve got clown shows, we’ve got grand openings…heck, we’ve got it all.

Summer Farewell Party at Elate Lounge
Say goodbye to summer *officially* with drinks, food, live music, and (hopefully) no tears. The party goes back to back nights so if you’re bad at goodbyes you get two shots at doing it right.

Wolf Willow Grand Opening
Wolf Willow is having it’s community grand opening event this weekend and wants the entirety of Calgary to come down for free festivities full of family fun. Alliteration aside, this is the perfect weekend activity and a great way to explore one of Calgary’s newest places to live.

Calgary Clown Fest
Ah, the Art of Clowning. Just in time for spooky season comes this laugh-filled festival. Forget Pennywise, peeps, these clowns are here to show you a good time.

Eric Church
If you don’t shed a single tear every time you hear Springsteen, we don’t know if we can be friends. For the rest of us soft country folk, Eric Church’s concert will be a magical twangy time. Actually, he’s playing back-to-back nights, so you can jam out twice with this legend.
