At 7:00 pm on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25, the doors at Manulife Place open and PARKSHOW begins! If you’re not one of the informed, fashionable types, you can expect a full market full of trendy vendors, tons of local food to eat, and plenty of Canadian designers to enjoy!

Christian Dior exhibit at the Glenbow
Using the “unparalleled corporate fashion archive” from Christian Dior Héritage, Paris, and the Royal Ontario Museum’s “remarkable collection of Christian Dior haute couture,” this showcase is a blast from the past… and boy, is it a fashionable one. Check it out before it’s gone on June 2!

Calgary Stampede Community Round-Up, presented by Global Calgary

Taco Takeover at ContainR at Sunnyside
Join YYC Food Trucks for their 1st Annual Taco Takeover! 14 food trucks will be pitted against each other to try and earn the title of ‘Best Taco.’ Expect live music from DJs, mariachi bands, and pinatas! Entry costs just $5!

Calgary Water Lantern Festival
Happiness. Love. Peace. Healing. No, we’re not listing off words that suburban moms use in their Pier One design pieces. We’re listing off the benefits of the Calgary Water Lantern Fest! As the sun begins to set on the evening sky, join the city in launching lanterns onto the water.

DINE UNDER THE STARS 2019
You’ll be able to stargaze and take in the views of Fish Creek Park, all while chowing down on an elegant 4-course meal. There will be wine, champagne, and absolutely no chance of getting wet since the domes are weather protective. If this doesn’t sound like an ideal dinner for you, we don’t know what will.

Market Collective
Market Collective is taking over BMO Centre Hall A with 150 artists and food vendors! Also, there’s “interactive special installations and features”. We don’t know what it means, but it sounds interesting. Pop on over for food trucks, DJs, live music, a skateboard park, and shop “from the amazingly talented local creative community”!

On what would have been Lewiston’s 3rd birthday, this incredible foundation is hosting a special event to remember a little lion that left a big legacy, and to raise money for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. It will be a night of celebrating, memory making and of course some dancing – cause we can’t stop the feeling.
