Ok, it’s safe to say that most people have a whole boatload of old costumes lying around their homes come Halloween. So, we’re happy to have come across one Calgary man offering a new idea.

Kevin McIntosh, a resident of Marlborough Park, has been setting up a rack for free Halloween costumes on his lawn for three years now. What originally started as a way to get rid of costumes has become a Halloween version of ‘give a penny, take a penny’.

This year, McIntosh is hoping to redistribute hundreds of costumes to those who might not be able to afford one. Honestly, it’s the perfect gesture of kindness and one that can easily be implemented across the city.
