This 17th Ave bar is giving back big time with a boozy 7-day charity event

This week, drink for a cause other than your own! From today, January 18th until January 24th, stop by Calgary’s Trolley 5 Brewpub and pick up a growler of their Electric Magic, Blueberry Lemon Tart ale, as part of their super tasty charity event!
Over the next 7 days, the 17th Avenue favourite will be donating $7 dollars of every growler or growler fill sold to a different charity every day.

Starting with The Center for Suicide Prevention, an organization that provides education and resources for those who fear someone they know is at risk; Calgarians will be able to make this city better one sip at a time.
Growlers for a cause will also be giving back to AARCS (the animal rescue crew society), The Colour Factor, which aims to create brave spaces of healing for the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) community and Raising the Roof; as well as The Calgary Food Bank, Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids, a program that provides meals for children in need and lastly the CUPS Calgary Society.
If you’d like to participate, head over to Trolley 5 ASAP, where growlers and fills are only $20. and fills are only $12! There’s really no reason not to, folks. This is the easiest way to give back, so check it out!
