The results are in, YYC! According to Avenue Magazines’s 2020 ‘Best Neighbourhoods in Calgary’ list, the north is where it’s at. For the second year in a row, Brentwood has been named the city’s favourite place to live.

This is the 11th edition of the publication’s list, which is created using an online survey completed by their readers, as well as data collected by the City of Calgary.

“Our Best Neighbourhoods survey was open from the beginning of January through to March 10, 2020,” they say on their website. “The survey is designed to get respondents to tell us what characteristics are most important to them in a place to live. The survey presents several lists of characteristics and asks respondents to rank them from most to least important aspects in determining what makes a great neighbourhood.”
