Call us biased, but everything is better when it’s made right here in the great white north. Finally, after months of importing COVID-19 rapid tests from other countries, Health Canada has approved our very first “home-made” version of what a lot of people would consider the smoking gun in combating the virus.

Precision Biomonitoring is actually a fairly new company based in Guelph, Ontario. Though they haven’t been in the game very long, their employees have a ton of experience and some incredibly powerful minds.

According to the company, these rapid COVID tests are capable of providing up to 9 nasal swab results in only 60 minutes, while still on-site. This is incredible because some communities were still waiting for up to 10 days to get any answers.

So, worst-case scenario (knock on wood) IF, we do get a second tsunami wave of coronavirus (worse than what is currently happening), we’ll be just a little more prepared and preparation is key!

We’re feeling good about this, Canada!
