The Drop-In Centre is urgently asking for winter clothing donations

We’re sure you’ve already noticed, but it’s freezing out here in Calgary. It’s next level chilly outside, and it’s during times like these where organizations like the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre need our help the most!
In a heartbreaking Facebook post, the Drop-In Centre said that they actually ran out of boots, and are “critically low” on warmer clothing like sweaters and jackets. They have asked the public for any and all donations. This is the ideal time to offload any outgrown or unneeded warm items!

The Drop-In Centre is a 24/7 emergency shelter who provides essential care as well as health services. They also offer employment training, and housing. When it’s this cold, they do their absolute best to make sure as many Calgarians as possible have warm clothing and shelter.
In addition to winter clothing, they said they also need toques, mitts and new underwear. If you would like to help out, donations can be brought to the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre. Donations will be accepted any time of day, any day of the week.
