SAIT is opening an Advanced Digital Tech school in a historic downtown spot

Technology changes faster and more often than all of the times Snoop Dog changed his name in the early 2000s. It’s not hard to fall behind – which is why today’s news is so exciting! In order to address the growing gap between those looking for a job in Calgary and the available jobs, SAIT has announced that they will be opening a School for Advanced Digital Technology in the inner city.
SAIT’s new campus will actually be funded by an incredible $30 million donated by YYC businessman and philanthropist, David Bissett, and has been promised an additional $8.2 million by the City of Calgary, which will be invested over a 5 year period. Side note: can you imagine what it would be like to have so much money you could just donate $30 mill? Wowza.
