Castle and crumpets and tea, oh my! Seriously though, you can book the home of Downton Abbey through an exclusive Airbnb offer. Feel like living royally for a night? Here’s what you can expect at Highclere Castle, the home of Downton Abbey.
First off, the 17th-century castle itself is massive, covering a whopping 100,000 square feet and set on 1,000 acres of land. With 300 rooms on the premises, each detail will provide insight into the opulence and majesty of old England. Sweet!
The experience starts with you and your guest evening sipping on cocktails in the saloon. Afterward, you will be treated to a dinner with the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon in the State Dining Room. Need another glass of wine? Call the butler over! Respectfully, of course.
After dinner, you can head to the Library for a little coffee and chit chat before retiring to one of the Gallery bedrooms, complete with an ensuite bathroom and views of the estate.
