Home of the week: A modern family home with an indoor rock climbing wall

Via Calgaryhomes.ca / Justin Havre

Welcome back, folks, to another Calgary Home of the Week. A lot of you probably realized this weekend that an apartment is just no place to throw a Halloween party. After all, there’s no winner in the battle of too many shots and one bathroom. Maybe it’s time to consider an upgrade?

Now, this Calgary Home of the Week might be out of our price range (and it probably has something to do with the indoor rock wall) but window shopping is all apart of the process, right?

CALGARY HOME OF THE WEEK

This week, we journey to the comfortable Bow River community of Cranston’s Riverstone to an artistic four-bedroom oasis fit for the entire family. This home features incredibly original decor in every room and spaces perfect for entertaining.

The living room is b-e-a-utiful and includes an eye-catching modern fireplace and huge windows with a ton of natural light.

The open-concept kitchen has a large island and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances. It’s only separated from the main living and dining room by a Japanese style built-in divider, which doesn’t necessarily serve a purpose, but looks super cool.

The master retreat on the upper floor of the house has a ton of space, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a giant soaker tub, massive shower, and double sinks.

Luxury isn’t only limited to the master suite though! There’s plenty of space to go around in this monster of a home. All other bedrooms have gorgeous views, massive closets, and each has access to an upstairs laundry room.

Downstairs is where the fun begins.  Welcome to your fully finished basement with a walkout patio. Take a seat at the private wet bar or play spiderman on the indoor rock climbing wall.  C’mon now, how many people do you know that have their own rock wall? You could be the first.

This two-storey spectacle and all the bells and whistles included will only cost you a few thousand pretty pennies… and then a million more, but we honestly think $1,150,000 is pretty reasonable considering its extravagance.
