Tuesday was a lot. Several new restrictions were announced, big family Christmas’s were advised against and the number of COVID cases in Alberta were said to be no lower than they were the day before.
Ahead of the weekend and the holiday season, we don’t blame some of you for being upset, tired, or for having some questions. In fact, we actually had a few of our own! One being “does this mean we should renew our Zoom memberships?” The answer was yes.
If you already knew that, then perhaps you were one of the people wondering if this will actually only last four weeks, or what, if anything, is allowed to remain open until these particular restrictions are lifted.
Unfortunately, without a crystal ball, we can’t say how long this will last definitively. BUT we can give you guys a rundown of what services will stay operational and one out of two ain’t bad!
This is what we know for sure will remain open during the upcoming December 13th (at 12:01 am) shutdown:

So there you have it, folks. We hope that helped! COVID in Alberta, the country, and around the world has been quite the time, but we’ve made it this far! We’ve done this once, and we can do it again.
Please just remember the importance of following these guidelines, washing your hands, and being kind to each other. It’ll all be over before you know it!
