Hawaii will soon allow Canadians to visit without 14-day quarantine measures

Those who have an itch only a vacation can scratch are about to hear some pretty great news! Pack your bags, because the state of Hawaii has said that Canadians will be welcome to travel their island, sans the 14-day quarantine measure as of September 1st.
Now, that being said, there are a few things tourists will have to do before boarding the plane in order to avoid being confined to their hotel rooms for two weeks.
According to a statement made by Hawaii’s Department of Transportation, those who want to opt-out of the 14-day quarantine will be required to get a valid COVID-19 test within 72-hours of heading to the airport.
With the proof of a negative result, Canadians who want to travel to Hawaii will be clear to enjoy themselves on their beautiful island beaches.

In addition to this, vacationers will also have to fill out a mandatory interisland travel and health form. This will also have to be completed and submitted before their flight and will be used if the subject gets ill while on the trip.
Lastly, anyone with a temperature of 100.4° F (38° C)or above will not be able to board the plane – so despite all of this prep work, you’ll have to be in tip-top shape on the day of your big trip.
If you ask us, paperwork and a life-saving stick up the nose are small prices to pay for a major change of scenery! Just remember to travel with caution. This is a huge step forward that should only be taken after a ton of thought.
