Celebrate pride around the world with a virtual celeb-studded event this weekend

“Exist. Persist. Resist!” Happy Pride Month, folks! This June, pride organizers all over the world will come together for Global Pride 2020, a virtual event in place of the 2020 parades and celebrations that were cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus.
No, it won’t be the same this year. But they’ve done the absolute most to still make it a special, memorable event.
Hosted by Todrick Hall, 2020’s virtual Global Pride will feature 24 hours of incredible musical and artistic performances much like celebrations in previous years. It will also include campaigners and activists who will be able to speak directly to members of such a resilient community at the same time.
