Can we expect a white Christmas in Calgary this year?
We’re dreaming of a white Christmas, but it’s up to Mother Nature to deliver the goods. We have our fingers crossed for a nice light flurry, but there’s only one way to know for sure! Climatologists already called for a warmer winter, but we figured we’d take a look at the Calgary forecast, anyway…just in case.
Sadly, it’s looking pretty green for us here in YYC. As it stands, we should expect a low of -6 C on December 25th, but it is just an early forecast! We live in a city where the weather could change on a dime, so there’s almost always hope!

According to the same forecast, Calgary is supposed to see some powder on the weekend, but unfortunately, it will probably melt by the big day… and then we won’t see snow again until January. Sorry, guys.
It’s a total bummer, but we will survive! We didn’t see any snow last year either, but we still pulled through. As we said, anything can happen in YYC.
