If you submitted an application for Calgary’s Pet Photo Contest to win a 4,100 square foot dream home in Mount Royal, we’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is, you’re about to be $33 richer. The bad news is, no one is winning this luxe Calgary palace.
Unfortunately, the contest didn’t receive its minimum requirement of 100,000 entries, which requested a photo of your pet and $35 fee. Obviously, this is unfortunate for those who applied, but understandable, considering everything going on right now.

“This Pet Photo Contest has received many inspiring photos and your pets have powerfully gifted smiles, giggles, and dreams. THANK YOU for your efforts and for your participation.” the contest runners said on their website. “Our thoughts are now to focus on the financial and emotional recovery of this heart-directed vision. We did our best and we put all we had into it!”
In addition to the top prize of the 3 Million dollar home, the contest had also offered up three runner-up prizes of $50,000 and was to donate $100,000 to charity.
We’re not sure how many entries Calgary’s Pet Photo Contest was short, or if the home will now be placed on the market. We do know that they have a treasure trove of pet photos, that we would love for them to release. Please and thanks, guys.
