Get excited, mountain lovers! Over 17,000 items are already tagged to be on sale at this year’s Calgary New and Used Ski Sale, making it the biggest haul ever. Needless to say, everyone is stoked.

Along with the best selection ever comes the best prices ever. Economics 101, people. The current inventory is valued at over $2 million and there are more consignment items expected to be brought in.

Last year’s event saw over 10,000 winter-ready folks come through to check out the gear. That’s a hefty crew of people ready to snag the best ski & snow stuff available, so if you’re thinking of going make sure you time it right.

The event has an $8 entry fee, but before you get your snowsuit in a knot about that, consider that that money will be split between three non-profits. The Canadian Ski Patrol, Calgary Ski Club, and Lake Louise Ski Club will all be benefitting from the entry fees.

Plus, we both know you’re going to be dropping a stack of cold cash on your new (or used) ski gear, so $8 seems like a fair entrance fee.
