A Twitter thread comparing RuPaul’s fits to Drumheller Dinos is too uncanny to ignore

We credit our survival this year to frontline workers and RuPaul Charles. When safe spaces were hard to come by, Drag Race was there, helping us laugh and cry through quarantine. If you’re like us and have watched several seasons of the feel-good show (more than once) while in isolation, you’ve seen some over the top looks, many of which you may never forget. In fact, they were so memorable, a Montana Paleontologist named Amy Atwater was even able to draw a parallel between Ru’s colourful gowns and … the dinosaurs of Drumheller?
Strange right? Wrong, the resemblance is honestly striking and we have no idea how we didn’t see it first.
From her iconic purple tulle number to fur, feathers, and flowers – Almost every comparison is spot on and we’re not sure we’ll ever be able to unsee it.

We always thought the dinosaurs of Drumheller were fashion icons, so were with you, Amy. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You are a queen, your Twitter is gold, and we hope – if she hasn’t already, RuPaul takes notice.
We’re sure she would be thrilled.
