Air Canada brings thousands of stranded people home amid outbreak

Thanks to Air Canada and their incredible employees, thousands of people who were displaced at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, have made there way back to their families, friends, pets, and beds.

There’s really no place like home, is there? Since March 21st, the airline, in partnership with the Canadian government, has brought 6,600 Canadians back from destinations like Morocco, Spain, Ecuador, Peru, Algeria, Argentina, and Colombia.

In total, Air Canada actually operated an incredible 21 special flights. Using some of the largest planes they have access to, working long hours, and taking extreme caution, the program has given people a little slice of comfort in such a scary, strange, uncertain time.

Never underestimate the power or take for granted the magic of comfort!
