A century-old church & opera house in downtown Calgary is now for sale

Sure, you might own a few Desigual pieces, but how eccentric are you, really? We hope enough to think about buying a century-old church in downtown Calgary, just so you can cosplay the Phantom of the Opera.
That’s right. Not only is this a historic property, but it’s also the current home of the Calgary Opera. So, once safe to do so, you could definitely skulk around the place and freak out some of the patrons. That would be our plan at least.

Built in 1918, this property (called the Wesley Church Building) has loads of potential. Keep the Opera in there, or be a big meanie and turn it into a crazy residential loft building. Heck, we could always use more art galleries in Calgary as well. With just under 30,000 sq. ft. of space, the only limit here is your imagination!
We missed the boat on the Masonic Temple, but we’re hoping that a real eccentric millionaire scoops this unique opportunity up. If you’d like to check out this crazy church in Calgary, just click here for the full listing! Spoiler alert: there’s no price attached, sadly.
Happy house-hunting, folks!
