GO SKATING THROUGH ALBERTA’S ROCKY MOUNTAINS
Calgary is a snow-covered, icy Winterland in the winter. This January, why not lace up a pair of skates and hit the ice! In an effort to promote safe socialization, some public parks in Calgary have been fitted with temporary fire pits and, as if that wasn’t cool enough, they’re also offering free wood! This month, again- when and if the restrictions let up, book a spot for you and your social bubble!

GET ONE LAST LOOK AT LEGACY’S LIGHT DISPLAY
We know, we know, Christmas is over, but some of the city’s best light displays ar just as bright as they were in mid-December!! If you haven’t already, take a look at the Legacy Christmas Light Parade in Calgary’s SE. There are over 1-million lights to explore and it’s completely free!

Don’t have a pair of skates? Well, you’re in luck! In addition to the new Bowness skating trail, the city of Calgary has also launched ice bikes! This January, head to the NW park and rent your own winter no-wheeler at the Skate Shop, located next to the Seasons of Bowness Park restaurant.
