Vegan Street, YYC’s first full-service vegan cocktail bar opens today!

The wait is over, Calgary! Plant based-food truck favourite Vegan Street opened YYC’s very first full service vegan cocktail and snack bar today, and we couldn’t be more excited… or hungry.
The highly-anticipated restaurant will still feature familiar items like their mac and cheese veggie burger, tasty tacos and a wide selection of poutines, but they’ve added a selection of vegan beers, wine, and cocktails! The vegan community should be able to wine and dine just like everyone else, you know?

Anyone who has been jonesing for one of their legendary Mac Daddy’s can head over to the old Laurier Lounge Restaurant in the historic building where George Stanley (designer of the Canadian flag) grew up. For a first brick and mortar, this is definitely isn’t a bad location, hey?
Honestly, we’re shocked it’s taken this long, but it’s better late than never! Let the snacking begin!
